Future of Chemical Imaging at Next Generation Synchrotrons – LINXS cross-theme event


Advancing chemical microscopy investigations for everyone!

Warm welcome to a workshop on Chemical Imaging! This is a cross-theme event, involving members from ChemLife, Heritage Science, NLF, ECL and New Materials.

When: 16–17 October 2023, lunch-to-lunch including a poster session in the late afternoon of the 16th.

Where: LINXS, Scheelevägen 19, Lund. Workshop room 5th floor.

Registration information: Participants are welcome to submit an abstract for a short presentation or poster. The presentations should be in line with the workshop (advancing chemical microscopy). If you cannot participate in-person and wish to join via Zoom, please contact josefin.martell@linxs.lu.se.

Description

In partnership with our diverse user community, and in seeking to strengthen MAX IV’s beamline portfolio, this workshop will focus on the scientific advancement of X-ray chemical microscopy investigations. At the meeting, leading scientist will discuss the latest and upcoming developments in synchrotron chemical microscopy in the tender and hard X-ray regime. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the panel discussions to help formulate and develop our vision for scientific needs in chemical microscopy.
