LINXS event - GISANS meeting at LINXS, Lund on 3 December

  • LINXS 19 Scheelevägen Lund, Skåne län, 223 63 Sweden (map)

A concerted Swedish initiative to prepare for the design and construction of a grazing incidence small-angle neutron scattering (GISANS) instrument, with the working name: SAGA, to be proposed in the next call for instruments at the European Spallation Source (ESS) have been developed during the last years. Recently a working document has been compiled with input from the neutron user community and other stake-holders. This document has been submitted to the Swedish Research Council. The document can be downloaded here.

The objective  with the meeting at LINXS is to further discuss the Swedish initiative to build a GISANS instrument at ESS and plan for the next steps.  The meeting will be attended by representatives for Swedish Research Council, ESS and the industry. Very welcome.
