Federico Bernardini, Research Fellow, Department of Humanistic Studies of Ca’ Foscari University, Venice, Italy.

Dr Bernardini is an archaeologist with extensive experience in the application of scientific methods to archaeology to study and characterise ancient materials and investigate past landscapes. He has got a PhD in Ancient History with Prehistoric specialization from Trieste University in Italy, and research interests include applications of X-ray computed microtomography (microCT) for the 3D non-destructive characterization of archaeological, paleoanthropological and paleontological materials.
